Unsolved Society Terms of Use

The service and its operator

Unsolved Society is operated by Serena Jackson in the United States. Contact support@joinunsolved.com for account help or questions about these terms.

Unsolved Society is a private, single-player investigation game. Its forum members, messages, and case materials are part of a fictional simulation. Other players cannot see your Society or send you messages through it. Some character responses are generated using AI and can be mistaken or inconsistent.

The game is for entertainment. Its characters and stories do not provide professional advice, investigate real people on your behalf, or offer an emergency service. Do not contact real people or make real accusations based on game content.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Unsolved Society. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to agree to these terms where you live. The service is not available to anyone under 18.

Provide an email address or supported sign-in account you are authorized to use. Keep your sign-in information secure and contact us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. Choose a handle that does not impersonate another person or the service's staff.

A registered account and a device-only preview identity can have separate Societies. Signing up does not automatically transfer earlier preview progress.

Using the game

You may use the service for your personal enjoyment in accordance with these terms and applicable law. Do not:

• Attempt to access another person's account, private Society, credentials, or data.
• Interfere with the service, bypass access controls or usage limits, distribute malicious software, or deliberately overload the system.
• Submit unlawful content, exploitative content, credible threats, or private information about other people without authority to do so.
• Upload or reproduce material you do not have permission to use.
• Use the game to harass real people, facilitate wrongdoing, or misrepresent fictional case material as real evidence.

Your content and AI processing

You retain any rights you hold in the content you submit. You give us permission to store, process, display within your Society, and use that content as needed to provide the game, generate responses, maintain continuity, and address support or security issues. This includes processing by the service providers described in the Privacy Policy.

The game's use of simulated memories and prior conversations can affect later character responses. Deleting a post or message does not reverse every consequence of an earlier interaction. Your content is not made available to other players through normal gameplay.

We retain our rights in the application's software, branding, and game materials. These terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you. Rights that applicable law gives you remain unaffected.

Preview availability

The preview may contain unfinished features, limited content, usage limits, errors, and interruptions. Features and game content may change. We may need to reset preview progress as the service develops; where practical, we will explain significant changes in advance.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every generated response will be accurate. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Suspension and ending use

You may stop using the service at any time and use Delete account in Settings to remove your account and private Society. Deletion is permanent. Contact support for help with account or personal-data requests, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these terms, protect the service or other people's rights, or comply with law. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us about the decision.

Changes and questions

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will show the effective date and communicate material changes through the service or your account contact details where appropriate. If a change requires renewed agreement, we will request it before continuing the affected service.
